Preliminary Examination of the Civil Services Examination for recruitment to the Services and posts will be held by the Union Public Service Commission on the 23rd May , 2010.

APPLICATION FORM : Candidates must apply in the Common Application Form devised by the Commission for its examination, which can be purchased from the Designated Head Post Offices/Post Offices throughout the country against cash payment of Rs. 20/- (Rupees Twenty only).

Age Limits : A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on 1st August, 2010, i.e. he must have been born not earlier than 2nd August, 1980 and not later than 1st August, 1989.

Minimum Educational Qualifications : candidate must hold a degree

FEE : fee of Rs. 50.00 (Rupees Fifty only) through a single Central Recruitment Fee Stamp. FEMALE CANDIDATES AND SC/ST/PH CATEGORIES ARE EXEMPTED.

Penalty for wrong answer (In objective type paper) : Candidates should note that their will be penalty (Negative Marking) answers marked by a candidate in the Objective Question Papers.

How to Apply : Duly filled in application form and the acknowledgement card should then be mailed in the special envelope supplied with the Information Brochure. The Candidates should also write the name of examination viz.
